From the rugged bones of an early 20th-century public works pump house or water treatment facility, this pair of towering steel frame windows is the kind of architectural salvage that stops you in your tracks. Standing at just under 9 feet tall with graceful proportions and rich industrial character, they’re believed to be remnants of a larger arched assembly — once flanking a matching set of windows or a grand entryway. The presence of original joiner bars hints at their former architectural glory.
Each window features a six-lite ventilator (36" W x 44" H), offering form and function — although two panes are missing and a third needs replacement. The ventilators are currently non-functional, as the original clevis pins are gone, but they could easily be restored with custom replacements. These windows still have most of their glass panes in place, but will require reglazing.
The lower rails have rusted through and will require the attention of an experienced metalworker or welder to bring them back to structural soundness. But for those with vision, this is a rare opportunity to reclaim something bold, beautiful, and nearly impossible to find.
Use them as a jaw-dropping wall feature, a statement room divider, or incorporate them into a custom build or loft conversion. These are not just windows — they’re conversation pieces.
