Vintage Industrial Galvanized Steel Fire Door | Mid 20th Century

Built to withstand the demands of an early industrial building, this authentic timber fire door is wrapped entirely in galvanized steel and carries decades of honest wear that simply can't be replicated. Layers of original paint have naturally weathered over time, revealing the galvanized surface beneath and creating a rich, textured patina that makes each side distinctly unique.

Its clean three-panel design offers a surprisingly modern aesthetic while retaining all the character of its industrial past. Whether installed as a dramatic sliding barn door, incorporated into a loft renovation, or displayed as architectural wall art, this substantial piece brings history, craftsmanship and unmistakable character to contemporary interiors.

Unlike modern reproductions, every scratch, worn edge and exposed layer tells the story of a working life inside an industrial building.
