Antique Museum Display Cases – Upper Canada Law Society, Osgoode Hall

Exceptional walnut display cases salvaged from the Upper Canada Law Society, Osgoode Hall. Originally crafted for library and museum use, these cabinets embody both refined craftsmanship and institutional history.

Constructed in walnut with mortise-and-tenon joinery and a dovetailed kick board, each case was made by a highly skilled cabinetmaker. The paneled bases feature 6-panel double doors on both sides, opening to reveal interior sliding drawers for storage and display. Doors are fitted with working locks and keys.

The angled glass tops are secured with tamper-proof screws (not hinged), requiring two people to remove for display changes—an intentional security feature for protecting contents. While the walnut cabinetry retains its original finish, the interior platforms have been reworked during their service life.

Perfect for use as museum cases, gallery or retail displays, or statement storage in a private collection.
