Pair of Early 20th Century European Three-Arm Wall Sconces
Pair of Early 20th Century European Three-Arm Wall Sconces
Elegant and richly detailed, this pair of early 20th century European wall sconces brings timeless Classical Revival style to any interior. Each sconce features three gracefully curved candle arms rising from a decorative backplate centred with an oval neoclassical medallion depicting a robed female figure. Delicate hanging ornaments beneath each candle cup and a warm gilt finish complete their refined appearance.
Likely of Southern European origin, possibly Spanish or Portuguese, these sconces draw inspiration from earlier French and neoclassical designs while offering the quality craftsmanship associated with European decorative lighting of the period. Their restrained proportions make them equally suited to traditional homes, boutique hotels, restaurants, libraries, or sophisticated contemporary interiors seeking a touch of classical elegance.
The sconces are offered as found with newer wiring. They have not been tested by us and do not carry ULC certification. Professional inspection and installation are recommended.
