A handsome pair of early 20th century wingback chair frames featuring reeded and fluted mahogany legs in the Marlborough style, characteristic of later Chippendale furniture. The chairs retain their down-filled cushions and have been reupholstered in top-grain leather—a later addition that has developed a rich, lived-in patina over time. Claw marks from a well-loved pet add to their authentic charm and story. A stately and comfortable pair offered as a set.

Condition:
Leather shows wear consistent with age and use, including surface marks, light scratches and claw marks present on the upper portion of both chairs..  Structurally sound and comfortable.
