A finely carved French Louis XV Revival settee, dating from the late 19th century. The giltwood frame features scrolling arms, cabriole legs, and decorative shell motifs joined by a shaped stretcher—hallmarks of the Second Empire era. Upholstered in an Aubusson-style floral tapestry, the seat and back retain their original character.

The upholstery shows wear in line with age and use and would benefit from professional cleaning or reupholstery, allowing the next owner to customize while preserving the beauty of the frame.

Generous in proportion at 63″ long, this settee offers both decorative impact and versatility, making it ideal for a formal living room, entryway, or boutique interior.
