Originally salvaged from a public or commercial building, the pair was built to bring natural light into adjoining rooms while maintaining separation and privacy. Their simple, timeless design has only become more desirable with age, fitting effortlessly into both traditional and contemporary interiors.

At some point during their long history, the doors were professionally modified and restored. They have been carefully stripped, repaired and refinished, including expert restoration to the former lock and deadbolt areas. The privacy glass panels are later replacements but complement the doors well and make them especially suitable for today's residential applications, including walk-in pantries, primary ensuites, and home offices.

The warm patina of the wood, crisp raised panels and large glazed openings create an architectural feature that simply cannot be replicated with newly manufactured doors.

Condition

Professionally stripped, repaired and refinished. Privacy glass inserts are later replacements. The doors have been shortened during their working life and exhibit evidence of historic restoration consistent with their age and use. Overall, they present beautifully and are ready for installation.
