This joined pair of antique Victorian porch ends forms a dramatic 110-inch fan — a sunburst rendered in wood, softened by decades of layered paint and time. Originally crowning the exterior of a 19th-century Eastern Ontario home, the two mirrored spandrels have been carefully aligned to create a single sculptural wall installation with commanding presence.

At once humble and monumental, the rhythmic carved ribs and scalloped crest create a quiet architectural statement that feels equally at home in a restored farmhouse, a refined contemporary interior, or a hospitality setting.

Installed as a unified 110" composition, the piece reads as a horizontal pediment or abstract sunrise. Separated, each 55" section becomes a substantial standalone fragment — ideal for flanking a doorway, anchoring either side of a fireplace, or used as a mirrored diptych.

This is architectural history reimagined as art.

Condition

Original layered paint with beautiful age-related cracking and surface variation. Evidence of historic weathering consistent with exterior architectural use. Structurally sound and ready for installation.
