Its thick two-inch plank seat rests on sturdy splayed trestle legs joined with traditional through-tenon construction, each secured with hand-cut wedges that remain proudly visible from above.

The beautifully weathered surface tells its own story. Tool marks, age cracks, historic insect tracking and a naturally worn patina have created a texture that simply cannot be replicated. Every mark reflects decades—perhaps more than a century—of everyday use.
