Late 19th Century Apothecary cabinet from Eastern Ontario. This spectacular cabinet, we are told, started out in one of the many fine shops that lined the main street of Port Hope, Ontario. Along it's journey, it has also served in antique stores and fine homes and appears to have been painted at least once, with small traces of Pompeiian Red adding depth, warmth and interest. A beautiful historical artifact that will feature beautifully in your home or business.
