Made by Lewis-Shepard Co. (est 1915), who specialized in material handling equipment. Called a Skid Platform or Dead Skid, this unit has metal base and edges with a wood deck. Nice condition with remnants of original manufacturer's label. Very good condition for its age. A great option for an industrial low coffee table.
